Dawson's dad, Bud, tells Dawson that Heather reminds him a lot of his wife which showed that Bud was not a resentful man and gave some insight into Dawson's style of affection for Heather. Heather is not related to any of the Ides nor is there any supernatural connection between her and Dawson's mother. This speculation however is left open in the writing.

When Bud goes to bed Dawson researches Anatola on the advice of Heather and finds a lot of internet presence. Her influence on the Charged community is expanding due to her personality which is power, loyalty, and jaded. Dawson finds himself drawn to her message.

To do:
  • Show how Shana knew Motor and Heather were a new couple.
  • Reduce overuse of the word "power."
  • Create a cheat sheet for the characters and their abilities.
  • Describe a reality TV show which demonstrates the powers of contestants.
  • Describe a trial where a Charged person sues for the right to have a second identity but the case turns against him into a vilification of vigilanteism.
